You pink and fuzzy elephants
with beaks so long and whiplike –
your words become so slurry
no one quite knows what they have heard.
You stomp the earth to pieces
break branches from the trees
piss frantically on the walls
you do just what you please.
No long-as-a memories do you share
yet – for the creatures all around
their mouths will split that mental quiet
trumpet stories of your awful sounds.
You pink and fuzzy elephants
gone dancing on a whim
the world was sickly beautiful
yet you to chose sink instead of swim.
Your leather skin creaks of mud,
your whites burn bright with blood
the reek of something playful
always splashing in the suds.
You thrice cursed pink elephants
with nothing to your name
hearing your thunder approaching
should bring terror to the game.

Hi, I’m Nicitsu, artist of the pink elephants artwork. Thank you for tagging me! I was googling myself and found your poem alongside to this very old drawing of me. It’s very special to me that something I created inspired someone else to create art themself. It used to be a parody of the band My Chemical Romance in their Black Parade outfits.

Dude! Thank you so much for creating such lovely work (and for letting me draw some inspiration!). Hope you’re still creating, and thank you’d to the backstory! That was a great song.
